Coming Soon! Intel® IoT Developer Kit v1.0


We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the Intel® IoT Developer Kit v1.0. This release is a follow-on to the original beta release supporting Intel® Galileo and Intel® Edison.

The new release offers a number of enhancements, bug fixes and improved usability including improved Eclipse* C/C++ project templates and samples to get started quickly. The release also includes support for 70+ sensors via UPM libraries, guided Windows* installer for Intel® Edison, setup and configuration, I/O library support for Intel Edison mini breakout boards, improved documentation including new Getting Started Guides with lots of code samples and Wyliodrin* (visual programming) support for Intel Edison.

Apple is rolling out the new beta of OS X to developers — and, for the first time, we have a close look at more diverse kinds of emoji.

Apple has openly acknowledged that emoji lack racial diversity; even the ones that do represent people of color are often criticized as stereotypical. Now, it looks like the Cupertino company is finally making steps in the right direction.
